Assets

The assets card allows you to access your downloads, replace your file and more. This is on the ‘Media’ tab when you are editing your audio.

Note

You may see a message regarding a “non-standard” input. This is simply because our system is optimised for video, and we don’t extract all the same information from audio files. This message can be safely ignored.

Versions

From the assets dialog you can see your version history for a file as well as replace the file. More details can be found here.

Downloads

For audio files you can download a m4a version of your audio file. The link is only valid for 24 hours, after which you need to come back to Media Manager to grab a new link. When streaming in our player a HLS version of your audio file is used.

Input File Meta

The input file meta will show you the information we extracted from your input file. This can be useful when debugging playback issues or if the output doesn’t quite match what you expected it to be.
