Generating API tokens

API tokens are created on a per-user basis and can be created against an account with any role. An API token will give access to all endpoints listed on the API getting started page for all teams an account is linked to.

Creating an API token

  1. Select API tokens from the user menu Screenshot showing link to the API tokens menu under the user menu

  2. Confirm your account password if prompted

  3. Enter a name for the token, this is used within the user interface to identify the token

  4. Once created, the API token will only be visible until navigated away from the page. The token should be copied to a secure location for future reference.

Managing API tokens

All active tokens are listed at the bottom of the API tokens page. Existing tokens can be only removed, the underlying key cannot be viewed or changed to maximise security.
